RETA3 effects: what is actually proven?
RETA3 is a food supplement – not a medicine. What may be claimed is governed by EU Regulation (EC) No 1924/2006: only scientifically reviewed, authorised statements are allowed. That is exactly what we stick to.
Authorised claims: chromium & zinc
One daily dose provides 40 µg chromium (100% NRV) and 15 mg zinc (150% NRV). Authorised claims include:
Chromium (40 µg = 100% NRV)
- Chromium contributes to normal macronutrient metabolism.
- Chromium contributes to the maintenance of normal blood glucose levels.
Zinc (15 mg = 150% NRV)
- Zinc contributes to normal cognitive function.
- Zinc contributes to normal carbohydrate metabolism.
- Zinc contributes to normal fatty acid metabolism.
- Zinc contributes to the normal function of the immune system.
- Zinc contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
Authorised claims under Regulation (EU) No 432/2012. No authorised health claims exist for guarana, apple cider vinegar, inulin or the amino acids.
And the 3x G-Formula?
No authorised health claims exist in the EU for guarana extract, apple cider vinegar extract, inulin, L-glutamine or L-leucine. We therefore describe these ingredients by origin and character only – without promises. The three icons on the packaging (“Blood Glucose Regulation”, “Macronutrient Metabolism”, “Cognitive Function”) refer to the authorised zinc and chromium claims.
Realistic expectations
A food supplement supplements your diet with defined ingredients in a consistent dose – it replaces neither a balanced diet nor exercise or medical advice.
RETA3 makes sense for adults who want these ingredients in one simple daily step. If you take medication or have a medical condition, talk to your doctor first.
